At L&E, we’re all about employee engagement. Comedy and entertainment are our superpower. We utilize a network of comedians, entertainers, writers, filmmakers, artists and learning professionals to create entertaining, meaningful, empathetic, nuanced learning content. Our expertise is taking serious, important, hard-to-get-at subject matter and finding clever ways to present that information to make it more engaging and impactful. We utilize the entertainment devices that people use to consume information in their everyday, non-work lives, and apply it to important workplace topics, to help win hearts and minds. Boring alienates and undermines ethics & compliance’s ability to influence behaviors. Short, entertaining programming is a more efficient and effective way to mitigate risk.

Our Origins

L&E was founded in 2016 by Ronnie Feldman who has been an entrepreneur in the improv, entertainment and learning community for over 25 years. Ronnie and his team previously built a corporate risk training and communications business with the famed improv comedy institution, The Second City, creating the RealBiz Shorts product and collaborating with 25% of the Fortune 1000 over a 7-year period. Since leaving to launch L&E, this team continues to challenge and disrupt the corporate risk community to find innovative, new ways to make learning more engaging and impactful.

Our E&CExperience

We have extensive experience working in the ethics, compliance and corporate risk space, having developed hundreds of pieces of corporate educational programming for ethics & compliance, privacy & info security, workplace respect, the importance of speaking up and other workplace behavior topics. We have a library of over 250 short, entertaining video shorts, interactive games and microlearning. In addition, half our business is custom creative programming – custom courses, videos, Code redesigns, characters, mascots, branding, live events and workshops. L&E has won 11 awards for ethics & compliance training and communications in the past 6 years.

Our background in film, TV, comedy and entertainment is used to create content that is less preachy, more realistic,
more nuanced and more self-aware. We know how to use a variety of different entertainment devices so that they
work in service of the message, to highlight teachable moments and make learning sticky. 

Style & Tone

The entire aesthetic of what we create is playful, positive, helpful and empathetic, from the writing, to the acting or voice over talent, the illustrations, etc. Training videos and E-learning tends to put people off from the start. We do everything we can to change the tone so that the learner knows that we are on their side, and that we care enough to not waste their time. We talk to them like human beings.
